Who we are

From Grace Example, Chief Financial Officer
To you
Subject Supplier payment, today

I'm between meetings and can't take calls. Please wire €80,000 to the new supplier account attached before 5pm. I'll explain later.

Not a real message. The flow is exactly this.

Most impersonation works for one reason: nobody could check.

A title costs nothing. A profile can say founder, CEO, serial entrepreneur; nobody checks, so nobody can rely on it, and the people who actually built something are indistinguishable from the people keeping the name.

verified.ceo is the register that closes that gap: who a person is, which company vouches for them, which claims a reviewer confirmed, and a challenge anyone can send and get an answer to.

Before any badge

There are two kinds of founders now. Those who can prove it in ten seconds, and those who are keeping the name.

Your clients, your hires and your investors will start checking. Decide what they find. Not being here is not neutral.

How it goes

Ten minutes to an entry. A few days to a badge.

  1. 01

Sign in with your company email.

Consumer mailboxes are refused. Using the link we send proves you control the mailbox, and your entry goes live.

  2. 02

Have your company vouch for you.

One DNS record or one small file on your domain. Only your company can do that, which is why it counts.

  3. 03

    Apply, with evidence.

Choose the claims you want reviewed and attach what each one asks for. A person decides within two to five business days, in writing.

  4. 04

    Activate, only after approval.

Membership turns on your badges, company profile and directory listing, and keeps the yearly re-check running. It never affects the decision.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

01What does verified.ceo actually verify?
Two things, separately. Standing is how well we know a person is who they say: control of a company mailbox, then a record the company itself publishes on its domain. Badges are specific claims a reviewer approved from evidence: Verified Founder, Verified CEO, Registered, Operating, Funded, Employer. Every badge page lists what it does not prove.
02Is it only for founders and CEOs?
No. Anyone with a company mailbox can hold an entry, and a company can vouch for any role it names: a head of finance, an accounts-payable lead, a sales director. Standing and the challenge work the same for everyone. Only the founder and CEO badges are tied to those roles.
03Can I pay to get approved?
No. Payment is offered only after a decision, and only to keep an approved profile active. The rulebook says this in writing and the review desk cannot see whether anyone intends to pay.
04What if my company cannot publish a DNS record?
Your entry still goes live as Email-verified, labelled honestly. A file on your website works as well as DNS. Once the company claims its domain, an administrator's approval counts as the vouch.
05What happens when I leave a company?
You record it in your dashboard, and the role shows as Former with dates instead of quietly disappearing. Founders who exited can hold a Verified Former Founder badge.
06How does a client know a request from me is real?
They open your entry and press Challenge. You get the description on your own devices and answer Confirm or Deny. They see the answer within fifteen minutes, or a clear “unconfirmed”.
07Is a badge an endorsement of the company?
No. It certifies exactly the claim named on it, for a year, and nothing about quality, finances or conduct. Judge those from the work.

For companies

Claim your domain. See everyone registered on it. Decide who stays.

One DNS record proves you speak for the domain. From then on, everyone who registers on it is visible to you, your approval is a company vouch for any of them, every challenge denial is an incident you can see, and no one can be your CEO without you knowing. Free.
